Trust Yourself, Love Yourself

One of the most important skills you can ever learn is forgiveness.
So today, try forgiving yourself.
Some (poetic) thoughts about the dark, as I feel myself coming into the light again:

There Are Reasons to Stay

We all have things that keep us going.  And I think that overall, it is hope which acts as our oxygen.  I have lost myself a thousand times, but I always had hope that I would find my way back.  Just look around, and be grateful for what is here right now.  Someone told me once that depression is living in the past, and anxiety is living in the future.  I guess we all just have to try and live for now.
I've been taking this really incredible astronomy class, and I am astounded every day by just how insignificant we all are.  I think that the only impact we have at all, is the way we make other people's lives more beautiful. We do that through human connection; expression.  So always cry when you feel like it, whether it is for happiness or sadness.  Don't act like things don't matter, because they actually really do.  Don't hide: if you can express something real, it will encourage others to express their reality, and learning someone else's reality is the only way we can advance as people.

Rant over.

Pictures! Rachel and I are finally getting to enjoy the weather!  Also, I tie-dyed my hands and feet (:

I adore my new boots.

This is like the only good picture of both of us. Ever.

“Cause I don't wanna be a witness to this life,
I want to be charged and convicted,
ear lifted to her song like a bouquet of yes
because my heart is a parachute that has never opened in time
and I wanna fuck up that pattern,
leave a hole where the cold comes in and fill it every day with her sun,
'cause anyone who has ever sat in lotus for more than a few seconds
knows it takes a hell of a lot more muscle to stay than to go”
― Andrea Gibson,
Have a lovely day!
